The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and Togolese Abroad, Robert Dussey has just announced a new meeting with his Turkish counterpart on Monday.
During this umpteenth meeting between these two personalities, they discussed on “international and regional issues.”
Last month, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu received Prof. Robert Dussey in his country. The two diplomats had also signed several agreements.
A few weeks later, it was the turn of the ministry in charge of security. Minister Yark Damehame in turn initialed agreements in the field of security, at the end of his stay in Turkey from June 19 to 24, 2021.
Last April, Turkey opened its embassy in Lomé. A pledge from Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu to Togolese President Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé during an official visit to Lomé in July 2020.
