Togo’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration, and Togolese Abroad, Robert Dussey, is on an official visit to Cuba, marking his third trip to the island nation.
The visit is part of the International Conference on the Decade for People of African Descent, held in Havana. It also presents an opportunity for the Togolese diplomat to discuss various topics aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation between Togo and Cuba.
On Monday evening, Minister Dussey met with Cuban Vice President Salvador Valdés Mesa, delivering a message from Togo’s President.
Togo and Cuba have enjoyed 45 years of bilateral relations, which have expanded into diverse areas such as healthcare, culture, and education.
