Libya has appointed a new ambassador to Togo. On Friday, December 20, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Robert Dussey, received the credentials of the newly designated diplomat, Salih Al-Konui Kanduweesh Mohammed, during a ceremony held in Lomé.
Following the event, the two officials discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two nations. In line with diplomatic protocol, the new ambassador is set to be officially accredited by the President of the Republic.
According to the Togolese government, Togo and Libya have maintained cooperative ties for several decades, particularly in the areas of investment.
