As part of the race for the Women’s African Cup of Nations (WAFCON 2022), The female Sparrowhawks of Togo landed in Libreville, the capital of Gabon, on Sunday.
Togo dominated (2-1) Les Panthères Dames in the first leg on Thursday in Lomé.
The return match which will take place on Wednesday promises to be decisive for both teams.
With the victory at home, Togo will seek to seal their first-ever qualification for the Women’s AFCON if they manage to win over the Gabonese.
Meanwhile, the latter seek at least to settle for a score of 1 goal to 0 to validate their ticket for the final phase of WAFCON 2022.
