Electoral Commission of the High Council of Togolese Abroad is set

After the launch of the electoral process, the members of the Independent Electoral Commission of the High Council of Togolese Abroad (CEI-HCTE) have been appointed, the government announced on Wednesday.

The decision was made a few weeks ago via an order from Togo’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prof. Robert Dussey.

They are in all four (4), invested with the mission of leading the electoral process of the country Delegates of the HCTE.

The new members elected for a period of 6 months, must regularly report on the progress of the electoral process to the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Member: Ms. Brigitte Badassou

Member: Ms. Ameyovi Agbemavor

According to the Togolese government, the HCTE is an “advisory body of associative status, non-partisan, non-discriminatory and non-profit”. The mandate of country delegate is voluntary.

  1. Comment élit -on les membres du bureau ? Pourquoi une opacité autour du choix du Président et des Vice Présidents du HCTE a été organisée par la commission électorale dans le passé ? Aucun journaliste n’a pu retransmettre la séance. Cette fois-ci ce sera comment ?
