Togo to host an international conference from January 19

The capital of Togo, Lomé will host from January 19 to 20, 2023, the International Conference on Financing (CILF). The event should bring together personalities from the African economy around the financing of businesses and major projects.

The meeting will focus on several themes including access to financing for businesses, alternative financing methods and the mobilization of capital within local investment vehicles.

According to the government, the participants will also look at the progress made in recent years by the economies of the countries represented at this meeting and will try to find solutions to the difficulties encountered by SMEs in accessing finance.

Several high-level personalities are expected, including political leaders from Togo, Benin, Côte d’Ivoire and Congo, but also financial experts, entrepreneurs and lawyers.

As a reminder, the Lomé International Conference on Financing is being held a few weeks after the second annual summit of the Africa Financial Industry Summit (AFIS) hosted by Togo.
