The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Togo, Prof Robert Dussey, has been on an official visit to Saudi Arabia since Monday. A trip placed under the sign of bilateral cooperation.
On the menu of the ministerial agenda, talks in particular, with Saudi officials. Lomé and Riyadh, which have enjoyed excellent cooperation relations (framework agreement and financing of development projects) for years, have come closer in recent months.
The kingdom has had a new ambassador in Togo since February 2021, and the Saudi minister delegate for African affairs paid a working visit to Lomé, also at the start of the year.
