The Minister for the Coordination of Government Policies of South Korea, Bang Moon-Kyu had a working session with the government team of Togo, this Thursday, May 25, 2023. The meeting chaired by the Prime Minister, Victoire Tomegah-Dogbé , is part of the 60 years of diplomatic relations between Togo and South Korea.
Exchanges with the South Korean delegation made it possible to take stock of the cooperation between the two countries.
The two parties discussed topics related to the private sector, development aid, the Korean rice belt and digitalisation.
The South Korean official also carries a letter from President Yoon Seok-Yeol. “I came to transfer the presidential letter to the Prime Minister. Our president celebrated today the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Togo and Korea and he would like this collaboration between the two countries to continue and prosper”, he said.
This visit follows the one made last March by the head of Togolese diplomacy to South Korea, after which Lomé and Seoul wished to deepen their partnership, particularly in the economic sector.
