The Ghanaian capital will be hosting the funeral of Elpidio Fernando Kodjo Olympio, one of the sons of Sylvanus Olympio, the first Togolese President.
Fernando passed away in Paris on September 5, 2021 at the age of 81.
In the funeral program, the grieving family informs that a religious ceremony is planned:
It will be organized on Saturday 23 October 2021 at 10 a.m. in the Parish of Saint-Honoré d´Eylau, 66 bis Avenue Raymond Poincaré Paris 16th, in France.
As for the funeral, it will not take place in Lomé as some might imagine, but in Accra, Ghana on Thursday, October 28th.

C est l un des enfants de president Olympio que Eyadema a tue un beau matin de 13 Janvier 1963 avec la collaboration des Francais. Depuis les enfants se sont eparpilles. Le Togo devenu un pietre ou ils ne peuvent y depose leur pieds….Que la terre lui soi legere
