Togolese authorities received new doses of Johnson & Johnson vaccine on Sunday evening, bringing the total number of US donations to Togo to 1,245,090 doses through the Covax initiative.
On the night of November 12 to 13, the USA increased the figure to 909,090 doses, while Togo received 336,000 new doses yesterday.
The United States is one of the most committed partners in the fight against the pandemic Covid-19 in Togo.
More than 600 people have been vaccinated with Pfizer in the parking area of the US Embassy in Lomé, opened for vaccination since November 9.
