The first Youth Innovation Week (Togo Youth innovation week) was officially launched on Tuesday December 13 in Lomé and the logo of the event is unveiled.
Focused on the theme “Innovation at the heart of a strong, inclusive and prosperous economy”, this week, from December 27 to 30, aims to stimulate creativity and promote the culture of innovation.
Several activities are on the program for this first edition, including an exhibition of innovations, discussions, workshops and forums. The week will also be marked by a competition called “228 innov”.
Intended for innovative start-ups, the initiative will allow project leaders to make themselves known and to be awarded. At the end of the day, three projects will win the prizes of the competition of the week of innovation and a “coup de coeur” prize.
The competition concerns all young Togolese aged 18 to 40 with a start-up or a company less than 8 years old and whose headquarters are in Togo. Applications will be made online.
