Togo will host the “Rencontres Africa 2021” in October

The Togolese capital will host from October 05 to 07, the 2021 edition of the “Rencontres Africa”, announced the promoters of the event.


This important economic meeting, which marks a little more the return of business meetings suspended for a while by Covid-19, will be organized under the theme: “Is economic recovery in Africa the business of companies?”

In total, nearly a thousand decision-makers (around 150 physically and more than 700 virtually), including French investors, local and mainland economic operators, are expected for three days.

The activities will be furnished with a high-level conference, thematic workshops, individual meetings, B2B meetings and networking sessions.

For Togo, whose choice was motivated by “the resilience and agility of the private sector during the health crisis”, according to the Minister of Investment Promotion, these 6th Africa Meetings will above all serve as a platform for exposure to business opportunities.

As a reminder, the “Rencontres Africa”, initiated in 2016 between African and French leaders, are held annually alternating between France and Africa.
