Togo takes part in the 33rd plenary session of AFCAC

Togo is taking part in the meeting of African countries which is underway in Kigali, Rwanda, for the 33rd plenary session of the African Civil Aviation Commission (AFCAC).

The opportunity for Togo to remind African states of the importance of massive and rapid membership of the Single African Air Transport Market (Mutaa).

The President of the Republic of Togo was represented by the Minister of Transport, Affoh Atcha Dedji, who delivered a message on his behalf.

A message that highlights the advantages of Mutaa and encourages, on behalf of the Head of State, other countries to join in order to accelerate its operationalization.

According to the government, the African Single Market remains a vital lever for the proper functioning of the African continental free trade area and for other projects of the AU’s Agenda 2063.

In addition, on the sidelines of the work which lasted three days, Minister Atcha Dedji met his Rwandan counterpart Claver Gatete, with whom he discussed the challenges of African aviation, in particular the post-Covid recovery.
