Togo-Robert Dussey in a meeting on “the future of Africa-EU relations”

Togo’s Foreign Minister has announced Wednesday, his participation to The Chatam House webinair on “The Future Of Africa-Eu Relations : Restoring Momentum For Effective Partnership”.

The virtual meeting chaired by the Head of Chatham House Africa programme, Alex Vines OBE, has also seen the presence of Bernard Quintin, Director, Deputy Director General Africa at the European External Action Service and some researchers.



Africa-EU relations under the post-Cotonou agreement deployed in 6 main areas, according Robert Dussey namely, Sustainable and inclusive economic; Human and Social evelopment; Environment, management and climate change; Peace and security; Human rights, democracy and governance; Migration and Mobility.

“These areas of cooperation (Africa and the EU )within the framework of the OACPS-EU partnership in its post-Cotonou phase are well in line with the African Union’s Agenda 2063, the launch of the African continental free trade area, the joint Africa -EU strategy adopted in 2007” said the Togolese Diplomate.
