Covid-19: The new travel rules in Togo

In view of the positive evolution of the fight against the spread of Covid-19, the Togolese Executive is easing the conditions of arrival and departure at Gnassingbé Eyadéma International Airport (AIGE) in Lomé.

For travelers arriving in Togo and presenting proof of full vaccination, the PCR test is no longer required as a travel health and document. In addition, it is not required to carry out the PCR test on arrival.

However, for unvaccinated travelers arriving in Togo, proof of a negative PCR test is still required as a travel and health document. These travelers will therefore be subjected to a PCR test at the airport.

Concerning departures, travelers presenting proof of complete vaccination are exempt from the PCR test for a country that does not require it at the entry, meanwhile a negative PCR test is required for those who are not vaccinated.

Note that the validity of the results of the PCR test is five (5) days.
