Togo has no more Covid-19 patients in health centers

According to data from the coordination of the response to coronavirus in Togo, no patient was registered in the care structures for the infectious disease, Covid-19 on March 8, 2022.

Two years after the appearance of covid-19 in Togo, the country’s health authorities announced on Monday the good news to the Togolese population.

“As of March 8 in Togo, no more patients were identified in the coronavirus care structures on the territory”, indicate data from the coordination of the response.

“Although these data do not mean the end of the pandemic in Togo, they nevertheless once again validate the strategy put in place by the government from the start”, underlines the presidency of Togo.

It should be noted, however, that according to the latest updates from the official website of Covid-19 cases in Togo, there are 124 active cases on March 09.
