Togo’s ambassador to Germany, Michel Komi Bayédzè DAGOH died on Saturday, October 29, the government confirmed on Monday.
In office since 2018, the diplomat also had jurisdiction over several European countries: Russia, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, and even Bulgaria.
In Turkey, where he also served for a time, his memory was hailed by the West and Central Africa Director of Turkish Diplomacy, Nur Sagman.
A few months ago, the country also lost its permanent ambassador to UNESCO, Sambiani Sankardja-Laré.
