A new era is dawning for Togo following its qualification for the “Full Compact” program of the Millennium Challenge Accourt. Chief Executive Officer Alice Albright in charge of the MCC department clarified several points in an exclusive interview with Dr. Albert Kate, our special correspondent in Washington DC.
“In terms of what it means for the Togolese people , we will now be working with the governments to identify what we call key constraints,” she indicated.
According to her explanations , this basically means the United States will help Togo to identify the main challenges that the country is facing, then they will “provide funds to invest in those areas.”
