The Togolese government has further eased this week travel conditions on departure and arrival in the country.
The ministers in charge of health and transport announced new measures at the start of the week.
From now on, “travellers under the age of 12 are exempt from the PCR test on arrival and departure”.
For those over the age of 12 presenting proof of full vaccination on arrival, the PCR test will no longer be required as a travel health document.
The same for those of the same age group departing from and going to a country that does not require it as a travel health document.
In addition, “the validity of the results of the PCR test is now 05 days”, indicates the government.
These new conditions are part of a new series of easing of restrictions decided last week by the executive, in view of the improvement of the health situation in the country.
A few days ago, nightclubs and similar places were authorized to reopen throughout the Nation.
