Togo has heightened its alert against Mpox, also known as Monkeypox, in response to the growing global outbreak. On Thursday, August 15, the Ministry of Health announced enhanced epidemiological surveillance across the country, particularly at entry points, without giving further details.
Minister Moustafa Mijiyawa emphasized the importance of community involvement in controlling the spread of the disease, stating, “If you suspect you have dengue, report to the nearest health facility for prompt and proper care.”
