Covid-19: Togo launches its immunity passport

Three months after the start of the vaccination campaign against the coronavirus, the Togolese Government officially launched the issuance of the vaccination passport on Monday.

This official document, free, tamper-proof and accessible to all, certifies that a person has had their full vaccination against Covid-19.

Therefore, it contains all the information relating to the vaccination of a person (included in a unique QR code that can be authenticated by the competent authorities), and his electronic signature.

Anyone who has received their full dose of the vaccine can therefore obtain the vaccine passport in PDF format from the dedicated website.

According to the government, so far, around 300,000 people have been fully vaccinated.

The operations of administering the second doses are still continuing in the west African country.
